The EPIIC program's annual Symposium is a three day-event from Thursday, March 9 - Saturday, March 11 that brings together scholars, practitioners and students from the international community to engage on topics such as environmental racism, global health, and the Black Lives Matter movement in a global context.

 

The Symposium will feature seven panels with speakers from a range of different backgrounds. The keynote address will be given by Desirée Cormier Smith, Special Representative for Racial Equity and Justice at the U.S. Department of State on Friday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. at the Joyce Cummings Center auditorium. 

 

The EPIIC Symposium is generously supported by a “$100K for 100” grant from the Cummings Foundation.

 

The symposium will be livestreamed via JumboCast on YouTube.
