When I walked in everyone was so genuine. They offered me water and were very considerate. I organized four circle racks of clothing into rainbow color pattern and by size. Also, I organized five rows of clothing into rainbow pattern and by size. Will definitely be back!
Volunteering at Beautiful Lives Boutique has always been one of my favorite places to volunteer. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. When I arrived, I cut down all the cardboard boxes. After I cut the cardboard boxes another volunteer and I tagged three $7 bins full of clothes and put them in bags. We also tagged a few $10 and $12 bins full of clothes and put them on hangers. After that we tagged two $5 bins of clothes and put them in bags for fall. Lastly, we started steaming the $10 and $12 marked winter clothing.
I loved volunteering at the 7hills volunteer center. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. On my first hour of volunteering I grabbed a black cart from the building across and filled it up with several bags of food. Then I drove the cart to the other building so they have lunch. I helped Kim unload the car of things into the building and threw away cardboard boxes to the dumpster. Then, I double bagged for an hour, so whenever we put food in the bags they won’t break. Lastly, i filled the double bags with canned food, peanut butter cup, fruit cup, beef stick, pop tart, and milk.
The staff was super sweet and welcoming. I took a cart and in each aisle I took out items that had a marking of an “o”. They made me put the glass in the bins in the back and the rest to throw away in the dumpster.
I love love love this place. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. I came in there and all of the racks of clothes on the floor I organized by color and size. That itself took me three hours but I recommend everyone to volunteer here. I bought a few clothes after my shift and will definitely be back.
